Red Bull Music Academy comes

alive across all

video platforms

Description +

The Red Bull Music Academy was founded in 1998 as a workshop and lecture series for aspiring music-makers. Home to Red Bull Radio and makers of Red Bull Music Festival.

We partnered with RBMA on a year long overhaul of their motion toolkits used across all properties. We created comprehensive graphic packages in nearly every imaginable format to create a cohesive brand presence no matter the platform. This graphic package could be customized for the academy, radio or master brand. In addition to this we worked on one-off series, ads and on stage visuals.

Each artwork was adapted to work across Apple's multiple platforms. Release is ongoing.

DJ Envy ft. Fetty Wap: Text Ur Number

Motion Design

For DJ Envy's producer debut he teamed up with New Jersey native Fetty Wap. We took inspiration from Envy's heavy production and mixed instrumentals. We created a library of hundreds of 3D and 2D graphics along with a catalog of generic and programmed effects. We systematically layered these elements creating an animated collage for each verse.

As Covid-19 stalled live events and concerts dried up, Genius was seeking alternative ways to connect artists to their audience. They approached us to develop the brand identity and product design for a new event platform called Genius Live. Working as an extension of their team we helped conceptualize new ways for viewers and artists to interact. We worked with Genius' engineering team to bring the vision to life. The digital event series featured performances by Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, and more, garnering 80k average total viewers per show.

St. Vincent: 360° Video

Motion Design

We worked with the Annie Clark and her creative team to create this visual video for the for the digital release of St. Vincent’s “New York” remix by DJDS.

Using the “big apple” as the classic symbol of NYC, we wanted to show how something you love can morph, degrade, and then renew itself over time. Sometimes being in multiple states at once.
